単位がそろった!!

本日、評価が二つ返ってきました。
最後に受けたモジュールの課題評価と、Dissertationの評価。

どちらもAで合格!!
そして、これでMA取得に必要な単位が全部そろいました!!
正式に認定されるのはまだ先なのですが、
とりあえず、やったーーー!終わったーーー!!!

授業の課題の方はなかなか厳しいフィードバックだったのですが、
苦労した(涙)Dissertationのフィードバックは、温かい言葉で満ち満ちてました。
最後に大サービスしてくれたようです。
以下、抜粋です。

Overall Comments/Areas for Improvement:
This is a very interesting dissertation, which makes an engaging read and which succeeds in making a genuine contribution to what we know about Japanese expert EFL learners.

Grasp of Field of Study:
You show familiarity with a large number of the relevant sources, and demonstrate a good ability to synthesize them. The literature review is well structured and clearly written. A particular strength of this section is that it includes a discussion of methodological issues in existing research.  You also succeed in identifying a gap in the literature on learner beliefs.

Methodological and Research Skills:
Sound motivation is provided for the qualitative methodology adopted, and you demonstrate good awareness of the limitations of the approach.  It was also good to see that the research took the form of a conceptual replication study. The data analysis is thorough, and the presentation of the data is skilful. You did an excellent job at identifying categories emerging from the data. The discussion relates the findings to previous research in a highly competent manner. The conclusion provides a helpful summary of the paper. The limitations of the study are well acknowledged. In sum, this is a very good piece of work.

Structure, Communication and Presentation – focus, organization, cogency, clarity, fluency, accuracy:
Clearly structured and well-written throughout.


Institute of Educationでは、評価がAとBのDissertationは、図書館に並べられます。
半年後、わたしのDissertationもあの書架に並ぶのかな。
